Uber

Uber was a much talked about “Unicorn” (startups with evaluations >$1 Billion USD) around ~2014 and was attracting a lot of top talent. I was fortunate enough to find a role there in 2015.

In this page, I will link to various Uber blogs that are interest to me.

Uber was an excellent company where many interesting technical and product ideas were born. I was part of the Marketplace org – which was responsible for dynamic pricing (aka surge pricing), driver positioning/matching and in general running all the logistics required in running Uber’s Rides business. I also managed the Experimentation and Segment/Targeting team as part of Uber’s Data org.
Uber went IPO on May 10, 2019.
