Netflix

In this page, I will link to various Netflix blogs that are interest to me – I either contributed to these as a developer, a manager or its an area of interest to me as its relevant to my domain

I was lucky to be at Netflix (2008 to 2014) – a period in which some really interesting events occurred

  1. Switch to streaming content as the primary product
  2. Move from running a monolithic app using traditional RDBMS (Oracle) to embracing the Cloud (AWS) and pioneering MicroServices (at least in terms of first scalable AWS based cloud native architecture)
  3. Publishing the highly talked about “Netflix Culture Deck”

I will soon expand on each of the above and share my observations and learnings .. but for now, here are a list of links that point to talks or articles on the work we did at that time.
